Hi Everyone,

I have a Bosch combo microwave/oven wall unit that I need advice on how to rough in.

All of the drywall in my kitchen is down but I'm not sure the best way to do this.

The cable is 6/3 NM and there is 6/3 armored cable coming from the oven.

Bosch's manual suggests installing the junction box in the cabinet above the oven's cavity. That's fine, I have the dimension and know where to place the box. However I do not know if I should just leave the cable in the wall and pull it through and install the j/b inside of the cabinet or if I should install the j/b to the stud before the drywall goes on.

What is the best way to do this?
