I am replacing ceiling fan with Hunter 54" with remote and need some help in identify wires.

My current ceiling fan has no remote and is controlled through one switch from the wall for both fan&light. Builder didn't use the wires as per the standard code.

Here is my current connection setup :
-> Grey from ceiling is connected to White from fan,
-> Yellow and velvet from the ceiling are connected to black and blue from the fan.
-> Black from ceiling is not connected to fan at all.

My new ceiling fan has the following instructions :
-> Connect receiver blue(light out) to fan blue.
-> Connect receiver black(fan out) to fan black.
-> Connect receiver white(common out) to fan white.
-> Connect receiver black(live in) to ceiling black(ungrounded) .
-> Connect receiver white(neutral in) to ceiling white(grounded).

Like I said all the colors from my ceiling are messed up.

-> How do I match colors from my ceiling to receiver? What colors do I use from the ceiling to receiver and what colors to ignore from ceiling?
-> Do I ignore yellow and velvet wires coming from my ceiling?
