A word or so on correct nomenclature: A plug is the two or three pronged device on the end of a cord that is plugged into a receptacle(aka-outlet). A junction box is the plastic or metal container in which the receptacle is installed.
What type of cable and/or conduit did you run to the shed, and how deep did you bury it?
Having a freezer and shop vac on the same circuit could cause an overload and a tripped circuit breaker. A freezer should be on its own circuit.

If you go with a chest freezer it should be alright and the freezer can double as a counter/worktable. Plus a chest freezer costs a lot less to operate than an upright.

Tks randy. I buried the line to the shop about a foot deep inside 3/4" elec pvc. At the shop I wired into a receptacle. At the house I put a plug on the wire to plug into the hot outlet. Now, I want to change that plug out while adding the new line for the freezer which will sit on the covered patio. The outlet is on a 20amp breaker. It will be a chest freezer hendricus..tks.

Very nice. That should give the inspector something to ding you for when he looks your house over at sale time. I see a quickly contracted ($$$$$) electrician's services in your future.
