What is extra wire from a three way switch on a two way circuit f

I am replacing a light switch for a single light with a single switch. The old switch appears to be a three way switch even though it is acting as a single pole switch. In other words there is no other switch controlling the light. The connections on the old switch are: two blacks, one which always has 124 volts regardless of whether the switch is on or off, the second black only has power when the switch is off, and a red which only has 124 volts when the switch is on. Then there is a ground and the neutrals or ganged together in the back of the box. (there are three switches in the box). The first black that always has power pigtails over to the next single pole switch and connects at the line in. The new switch is a single pole switch and only has a line in and a load out (plus ground). So what do I do with the extra black wire?

Thanks in advance for your help
