The wire is going to be visible. The only thought I would have would be to use some kind of Wiremold type product and faux paint it to match the tile.

You are not supposed to plug under cabinet lights into the small appliance branch circuits feeding the counter.
Have a new receptacle put in the back of the cabinet on the correct circuit.

If there is no bulkhead I like to mount the new receptacle above the cabinets, plug in the supplied plug strip up top, run the wire from the lights up thru the small gap between the cabinets before attaching the plugs to the end, then plug them in up top. If you DO have a bulkhead, then........what brickeyee said.
