| I'm looking at a fridge that has a "startup" rating of 20.1 amps, and a "running" rating of 3 amps. Does this need a 20 amp circuit, or is it ok on a normal household 15 amp circuit? |

| The 15 amp circuit will be OK. Brief overloads are tolerable. The maximum startup current is for fractions of a second. |
