There are short extension cords with flat plugs on them. Real handy to put behind furniture. They even make one that has two cords coming out from the plug. Handy when the one receptacle ends up being behind the bed headboard and you'd like power on both nightstands.

I can't find the Y one for behind the bed, but the others are just called flat plug extension cords. Lowe's has them

You can either get a "Right Angle F Adapter" at Radio Shack or whatever or you can google recessed cable wall plates. These recess slighly and usually point downward the cable jack primarily to fit nicely behind flat panel TV wall mounts.

These are available, however unless you have
