| Hello,
I have a house in the Maryland DC suburbs that has aluminum wiring. What is it going to cost me - approximately to have outlets and switches pigtailed with copper wire to reduce the fire hazzard? Thanks. |

| Not sure what the cost is going to be. Make sure that you find an electrician that has experience in using the specialized crimper for the pigtails. If you talk to an electrician and they mention using the purple wirenuts...find someone else. Another option is to replace all the switches/receptacles with cop/alum rated ones. |
