Bathroom 20A dedicated circuit

Hello,

Just a quick question on how I should wire up my new bathroom.

From Panel dedicated 20A circuit> Light > Fan (not above tub)> GFCI outlet > Downstream outlet protected by GFCi outlet

Is this correct way to run the circuit? My thoughts are if something trips the GFCI outlets it won't take out the lights.

Thanks!

No need to do unusual routings of the NM cable. If you wish to run the cable first to the receptacle location, do not use the load terminals on the GFCI receptacle that feed and protect downstream loads. Supply the fan/lights from the cable that supplies the GFCI.
