We are installing a new range hood and the manufacturer specs say it needs 15 amp dedicated circuit. Is it ok to put it on a 20 amp dedicated circuit instead? Will that be ok as far as code?

The manufacturer's instructions supersede. You can always use #12 wire on a 15 amp circuit though.

If it is a dedicated circuit, then this is just a breaker change.
