Would it be difficult

and/or expensive to install a 240V outlet on the wall where there isn't one?

I have 240V outlet on one wall where the ovens were but not on the opposite wall where I want to move the cooktop to.

Am I looking at some major re-wiring or is it pretty straightforward to do?

TIA!

It's all a matter of how much access there is between the panel and where the outlet goes. If there's an unfinished basement below, it's pretty trivial.

Thank you!

No, no basement but there is an attic above the kitchen.

Would it do?

Probably... get estimates and references.
