going rate in New Jersey

Does anyone have a feel for the going rate for an electrician in NJ? This is for installing some light fixtures and also for adding some breakers to our panel. Some of the breakers have too many things on them.

I'd call a couple of local electricians to get free estimates. There's not enough information provided here to form an opinion on how much this job should cost.

Call around and get hourly rates. What you are describing cannot accurately be estimated.

Also, it's NOT just "installing breakers". If there is too much on a circuit then the circuit must either be broken up by running new wire, or better yet simply running new circuits to the areas that need it.
