Power Meter Box for Coastal Home

Posted by rovermud (My Page) on

My house is on the coast in Florida. My power meter box is totally rusted away on the bottom. Any recommendations for the replacement? Is there a better box than the metal ones which may last longer?

Thanks in advance.

Patrick

RE: Power Meter Box for Coastal Home

They make ones specifically designed for corrosive environments for sure. Depending on local practice, it may be up to your power company to dictate things. You might give them a call. If you're on the coast they've probably dealt with this before.
