Make him redo the contract. There are many variables for lighting mainly where the power for the lights will come from and where the switch(es) will be.

It is cheaper to rough in now rather than waiting until he is done with the remodel if that is what you were considering.

It is much easier to do now and will turn out a lot nicer usually and less expensive than doing it down the road.
