| We have a Meter and a main disconnect with Ground; at 130' distance we plan to install an outdoor sub-panel. would it be right to run 2 hots and 1 neutral to the sub-panel and use a Ground Rod for Grounding the sub-panel? ...Thank you! |

| Under the newest NEC all sub-panels require a 4-wire feed. The exception allowing a 3-wire feed to another structure if no other metallic connections are present was removed. If the sub-panel is attached to the same structure it has required a 4-wire feed for a very long time. |
