Nicked wires while stripping Romex

I decided to start out small with my first electrical wiring project by installing power to my 12'X12' outbuilding.

After running all the wire, I started stripping the wires hanging out of the boxes. My older wire strippers were having trouble getting a good strip on the wires. When trimming the 12ga wire with the 12ga stripper slot, it wouldn't cut all the way through the insulation. I tried the 14ga slot, but it slightly nicked the outside of the copper core. Not huge nicks, but noticeable to the touch.

I didn't think much of it at the time, but now I'm a little bit worried. Should I be?

Thanks,

Mike
