| Hopefully, the cable to the light/fan has a red, black white and ground wire. If there's no red, then wiring the fan separately from the light becomes 'problematic'. First, connect all ground (bare) wires together along with a short (4 - 6 inch) section of bare wire from each switch. If this is a metal box, you'll also need a grounding lead from the box itself. Second, connect all neutral (white insulated) wires together. Then, connect a short (4 - 6 inch) section of black insulated wire to one terminal of each of the switches and connect all three to the black insulated wire of the 'feed' cable. Next, connect the other terminal of each switch to the black or red insulated wires to the lights/fan. Lastly, fold the wires neatly into the box, secure the switches, power up and test. |

| Is there a receptacle somewhere? It connects to the feed wires on the LINE side of the GFCI. |
