Stove with 5 wires

I recently purchased a used electric stove with oven. It is a small 3 burner stove and small oven. There are 5 wires coming out of the stove. When I went to purchase wire there were only 3 wire or 4 wire options. The associate at the store said that the 3 would work but I would have to connect 2 wires (from the stove side) to each one of the supply line wires. The green ground to the green ground. Has anyone ever seen a stove with 5 wires and will this work?

Did this stove not come with an installation manual?

It may have separate feeds for the burners and the oven.

Find a make and model number.
They should be on the nameplate, often on one side of the oven door opening.

When I search for "Amana AOES2430E" I receive links to an Amana wall oven, not a range.

The AOES2430 requires 30A 120/240 (three wires plus ground). I don't know where the fifth wire is coming from.
