Gloriosa daisies...lots and lots of them! Asiatic lilies, some daylilies, golden margarite, drumstick allium, clematis, roses, lady's mantle, astilbe,delphiniums, musk mallow, yellow loosestrife, perennial sunflowers, Japanese iris, perennial geraniums, nepeta, hosta, Anthony Waterer & Gold Mound spirea, nodding onion, lamb's ear, campanula, globe thistle, sweet William, verbascum, daisies, foxglove, trollius and lamium. There are probably some that I've missed too????? Cathy

I did not see his green sapote, but his McDill white sapote was covered with softball sized fruit! I've got a list of nurseries still to visit but these guys made an excellent start. At Exotica it took all my will not to pull a chair up to the sample table and start feasting. At Papaya Tree, Alex had a pineapple/lemon tropical guava that so permeated my sinuses I can still smell it. I dont know about mail order, but walking in was a treat. -Ethan

Oh my Raven, that's so much troubles. It's a good thing that you your DH is handy. Many that I know just aren't. I mean, I know about home fixin' more than they do. Believe it or not, each time I hear problems our city have in apartments, I'm so glad I am settled in a home. Not to mention, my mortgage is so much less than renting a one-bedroom apartment. I have tools & gadgets that my neighbors often come by to borrow instead of investing one themselves. When I moved from an apartment to a home with lawns/yards, the first tool set I purchased was gardening tools. Being a first time homeowner, I had no idea of all the tools I would need for maintain the lawns & yards. I looked up for a moving sale and contacted the homeowners to see if they had gardening tools for sale. I then dealt with them for all the gardening tools that they had. They gave me so many extras, it was quite a good deal. I had all I needed for years. There were tools that I wouldn't have thought I'd need them. Of course later on, I was glad I had the tools to complete the job. Home ownership can be a pain but it also has its own benefits and rewards.

Jim, I actually had worse luck, as a %, from other sellers. One order from CT of 6 bulbs was 100% mislabeled or rotten, another smaller order of 2 was 100% mislabeled. I ordered nearly 30 bulbs from RC and had a few problems with a couple rotten bulbs and 4 mislabeled (want some LaPango?). I think that this year they expanded their circle of suppliers to offer some special bulbs. I believe we have seen the last of these sorts of offers and next year will be standard offerings with few specials. Unfortunately, RC depends on their suppliers for quality and the correct id. I've really not seen a year like this before! I hope to not see another one ever again! I think your yellow could be H554. My Pina Colada was nearly fluorescent! Kristi
