Bathroom Windows/Velux Sun Tunnel

skydawggy or millworkman...

I have two bathrooms that are approximately 10'x5' that do not currently have Windows in them. I recently saw a Velux Sun Tunnel with Vent and Light inside and it definitely appealed to me, but I wanted to see what you thought about these two ideas...

1. Install a window (unsure of the size) in the back of the bathroom. This side faces west and it would be in the shower above the showerhead.

2. Install the Sun Tunnel in either or both bathrooms and replace the fan, and add additional light (natural) this way.

What would be the most energy efficient and/or best way to do this? If window, do you recommend a non-opening window (like frosted glass, glass blocks, etc) or a window like the Gorell's that I have in the rest of the house now?

Thanks,

Graeme
