This is our first posting, but we are aware there are many clever members -- we would like your help. We own 4 sliders, 2 5 ft. wide, 2 6 ft., which we cannot return and cannot use as originally planned. We are considering using them as window replacements, but the baseboard heat will necessitate installing them above it, and we have no rails or bars for safety. Any of you ever done this? What does the rail or bar look like? Are you sorry you used the slider as a window? We have already posted ours on Craigslist, but no replies so far. Thank you for your helpful ideas.
