Seems very high, get some more bids, maybe consider vinyl if going with a white window .

Need more details on that quote as well.

I agree with Todd on the second points as well. Can't hurt to look at other options.

when you say "7 windows" , is that seven single units, or are there some twin units, triples, etc in there that are only being counted as one? (IE: 7 openings with twin casements in each would actually be 14 windows) . It would make more sense if that (or something along those lines) is the case.
If not, that sure does sound high.
Best to get another quote or two for comparison.

In my area SC my triple window labor quote was $650. I think this is too high and will use my own contractor @ 250/window for install.
