Now we are trying to make decision about the entry doors to put on the house. We are pretty set on using a Provia front door because we like the fiberglass door that looks almost like a fir. However, on the other entry doors (double entry door with full glass for basement, single entry door with full glass for the master, single entry door with half glass for the garage entry and a single entry door with no glass) we were trying to decide between Provia and Thermatru. We can save about $3000 going with the Thermatrus on the rest of the house instead of the Provias. My brother (who builds houses) says the Provias are a lot nicer, but we have already started to go over budget on other parts of the house and this $3000 can be used elsewhere. Is it worth it to spend the extra $3k for the Provias? What are the advantages of the Provias over the Thermatrus?

Also, are we better off going with fiberglass or steel for the rest of the entry doors?
