How do you paint a fiberglass interior window frame?

We just installed 4 Milgard Ultra with brown factory finish outside, and they came with white inside which Milgard says is paintable. We intended to paint it, but now are worried. Looking at all the frame, including the tracks, how do you paint the interior? And does it stay painted when opening and closing, or scratch off the tracks?

Has anyone done this?

I really want to trim them out with cherry to match cabinetry inside, but am not sure about cherry moulding and white windows. hope someone has painting advice!

Any good acrylic paint will work fine
