Buying Windows at a Auction

Has anyone ever bought windows at Anderson 200 Windows at auction, how are these windows different compared to windows from Lumber Yard. I am not a builder or contractor, but was trying to save some $$ on windows by buying them in auctions. Lumber Yard said the windows would be set on 4-9/16 jambs for 2X4 wall. Does anyone know if this is a standard jamb that comes with Anderson 200 Windows.

Also, any tips on what all to check when buying a window will be helpful as well.

4 9/16 jamb is the most common,and therefore "standard jamb:... The question is, do these windows fit the sizes in your home?

Yes they fit the rough opening in my house. But I don't know if the 4 9/16 jambs come standard with the window out of the box, or is this something that one has to add after buying the window.

What does this mean on an Anderson Window Sticker. Does anyone know where can I find details on what all these letters mean on Anderson Windows?

"WPWI 40.625 X 35"

"UNIT 0 DEG WHTWHT HPTEMP FDL 4W3H 3/4 HDN HDN"
