Amcraft Windows for new construction

Hi! New member here...

I am in the process of starting a new constuction project and was looking into a good vinyl window for a fair price. I was told by a salesperson at abc supply that amcraft was a great window for the money. He also showed me that they were ranked high by j.d. powers. Which really doesnt mean that much to me. I was curious if anyone in the forum has any feedback on Amcraft?

I am not familiar with the window but it is a keen observation on your part to take the JD rating with a grain of salt when it comes to windows.

Very subjective rating when it comes to window quality over the long term and largely a marketing tool.
