| Is it possible to remove and replace just the operator cover on an Anderson casement window without removing the lower wooden trim piece? I need to repaint the inside of the windows in my "new" house, and I'd like to remove the old stray paint from the covers, and avoid getting new paint on them. I removed the screws and did some gentle prying on one, but the cover didn't move, apart from a little flexing.
Thanks, - roger |

| I would call Andersen. I have called them on a couple of occasions and they were very helpful and accommodating. I am sure they would be the same in this case and they might have instructions online or downloadable. |
