Hi,

I would like to replace a rotting five foot wide non opening picture window with either one double hung unit or two, and am wondering what is the best way to go here. Are there any suggestions?

5 ft wide would need to be replaced with 2 units as 1 would be extremely costly and look out of place for a normal house height double hung.

+1 on going with a twin double hung.

60" is probably well beyond what most would attempt as well.

Thank you both for the replies. I am replacing a Pella picture window that (having had excellent regular painting) has a totally rotted sill and bottom Rail( ?) and will be using Marvin this time around. All my Pella crank outs have warped also. Those will be the next to be replaced.
