The house has ACROLINE replacement windows by Slocomb. The windows used the most stick badly when being closed the last 6 to 8 inches. Sometimes it is extremely to get the window closed the last few inches. Would some type of lubricant help and if so what is recomended? Attempts to contact the distributor have not been succesful. Can someone help?

Is the sticking in the sash of the balance system? Dry film silicone lubricant works well on vinyl parts.

possibly a hardware/balance adjustment is necessary. Find a way to change the tension on the balance system and yell at them loudly until you get a return call.
