| If I am trying to determine what my visible glass "loss" will be when replacing my 20 year old storm windows, what measurements should I ask the dealer?
Do I ask for frame thickness? Do I simply ask for visible glass measurements in height & width? Do I then simply measure height/width of my existing glass space with a ruler and compare to the numbers the dealer/manufacturer gives me? Should I also measure my frame thickness on the sides & top & bottom or is that moot if I measure the glass? Thanks, just trying to get the terminology and measurements correct. |
