| I have 8 foot high 9 ft wide sliding glass doors. There are 3 panels with the middle one sliding. They are 35 years old.
I have had Pella and Marvin Reps in and both have said they cannot repro what is currently there. Does anyone have an option where I can replace what I have and not have to resort to standard doors and a transom? I don't want to go all out, but I this house is limited on natural light and I don't want to diminish the view. |

| Since I wasn't there, I am not sure why both Pella and Marvin told you they can't replicate your door. It is a standard size. Yours might be a bit undersized so it doesn't fit a "standard". Marvin wants a rough opening of 111 3/4" x 96" or a net frame size of 110 3/4" x 95 1/2" for that door. They could make a special size if needed as could many other manufacturerers.I would simply contact another Marvin dealer in your area. |
