Where is the home located (region wise)?

I am wondering about the quality of the window. Is it as good as it claims to be? Is it better than Milgard's standard loe? With Milgard there were add on charges to go up to a loe2 whereas with Brothers and CDW the loe366 was standard so it seems like a much better deal.

Since you use WA in your screen name any chance you are familiar with Comfort Design windows? Would you recommend them? Are they better than Milgard?

We live on the Central Coast of CA about twenty miles from Monterey and the beach. We are outside of the range of the fog so it is sunny all day. The front of our house is North facing but is in the sun all day so those rooms bake in the sun. The back of our house is South facing but right up against a mountain so it gets no direct sunlight.
