| We've got floor to ceiling (7') plantation shutters in two of our rooms. The base of the window is even with the floor so the bottom of the shutter is almost flush to the floor. The problem is we have a beagle that not only knows how to open the louvers she also knows that if she hooks her paw into the louvers she can swing the shutter open.
We've tried stopping her but it seems hopeless so I've been trying to figure out a way to attach a lock that doesn't detract from them. Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried searching and can't find anything I like. BTW for any dog lovers out there it's really funny to watch her when she opens the louvers too far, she puts her nose under them and pushes up so they're even. At least she's got a sense of style about her. |
