Reglazing Aluminum Doors - Condensation Problem?

I have older aluminum sliding (non thermal break) doors that are high quality but only glazed with standard IG units. The brand is Lanaidor manufactured in Oakland. I live in northern California so temperature extremes are not an issue. I have looked into having them reglazed with Cardinal 366 because of the heat in the summer but was cautioned that I may experience an increase of interior condensation in the winter. New doors would be four times the expense and the existing doors are very satisfactory except for the heat issue. Any feedback is welcomed. Thank you.

Nothing other than what you have been cautioned with already. That and that replacing the glass will probably be over half the cost of changing the doors so you need to weigh out the return on investment.

Whomever gave you that feedback is about as incorrect as you can get.

Low-e, installed properly on surface 2, will not increase wintertime condensation potential.

Just the opposite actually.
