Jeld-Wen Sliding 4 Panel Patio Door

I know this is the window area, but I am hoping someone out there can help with a door question. We are looking at replacing a single patio door & 3 windows with one large 4 panel sliding door from Jeld-Wen. This will get West sun all afternoon in an area that regularly sees triple digits throughout the summer. Anyone have any comments on Jeld-Wen Patio Doors? How have they held up to the elements & over time? It's a big investment & we want to get a quality product that will last. TIA!

Jeld Wen vinyl or wood? They have three series of wood. So which are you looking at? Facing west, you are going to get hammered in the winter as well. Just make sure you ask for their highest DP rated door and be sure to use Cardinal 366 for maximum sun protection.

+1 on low range SHGC (Low-e 366) in your application.

Thanks for the responses. I know it is low e glass & I believe it is wood on the inside & clad wood on the outside. Looks like I need to get my details straight!
