$400 more per unit? They are nice but that would probably be a big number to justify on a per unit basis. Are you doing triple pane units?

Thank you for a quick answer, no we are not doing triple pane. We are now looking at Kolbe windows as they have more of what we want.......opinion on them. Love their Vista Lux, but probably too expensive, looking at their Ultra series.

What did you do? I'm in Denver with the same decision-- I'm leaning towards the Amerimax. They're about $70 more per window... but from what I've read the 5500 has a large frame, which for smaller (basement) windows is a real deal breaker.
