I am looking for replacement windows. Does anyone have information/feedback regarding MI Windows and Doors XACT 1650 Designer Series windows? I would really love to go with Marvin's infinity line, but was quoted over $25,000 to replace 23 double hung windows.

I would recommend running away from anyone suggesting MI in any way shape or form. There are many other replacement window manufacturers that will be better, list you area on here and one of the replacement window guru's will give you some advice.

Thanks for the response. I am in South Jersey - outside of Philadelphia.

When i sold them Superseal was always a decent product that i found had knowledgeable sales people and good customer service. I would see if you can find a lumberyard or installer who uses this brand or vinyl replacements. Also they are in NJ

What about Alliance? I can get that locally. We will actually be installing the windows ourselves - with help from family (carpenter).

MI makes a good Professional series window that is pretty good for California. MI makes different windows for different parts of the country. Milgard and Simonton are good national brands.

Thank you for the info. There are no Milgard dealers with 100 miles of my location - I will look into Simonton. How is the MI profession series different from the Designer series?
