| Our 1650sf home just had a $668.00 electric bill! We think replacing our 1957 "miami" windows and at least 25 years old air handler will help a lot. Can someone recommend a good window company and window model here?
And do you know how much updated, energy star products would reduce our bill, by chance? Thank you very much! |

| First things first. Find out what brand of windows are available in your area. It does no good to get recommendations if no dealer near you carries that brand. there may also be windows made in your area that are very good windows but aren't known outside Florida. Second, check your local building codes to see if you need a window with a high Design Pressure rating or impact glass. In short, why not begin by talking to a couple of local window contractors and see what they recommend? |
