| I am doing some remodeling, so looking to replace some windows in 2 bedrooms. There are currently old casements that measure 50 1/8 x 43 1/2. these are 2 casements mulled together.
I would rather do double hung windows. I don't care much for casements. One bedroom is aprox 11 x 13. The only wall I can put windows on is one of the 13 foot walls, south side. Changing the window opening isn't that big of a deal to me. The other bedroom is aprox. 13 x 12, but I can have windows on a 13 foot wall, the west side, and a 12 foot wall, the north side. There is currently no window in the north wall. The rooms seem dark, like the casements are to small, so I am looking for recommendations on good bedroom window sizes. I would prefer a size that is normally kept in stock, so I don’t' have to wait for it to be special ordered. Thanks, Michael |
