The refurbishing of a window is expensive when done properly.

If the windows are not of a historic importance or value, you will likely be spending more money than they are worth.

Thanks Windows. I guess I will have to replace them but doubt if they will last the 60 years these windows have lasted without rotting or letting any water in.

Here I found several people that do that. There are several "historic" districts and so there is a market for restoration, perhaps.

Also we do not get cold winters, so an absolutely perfectly tight seal and modern double or triple pane glass is not so urgently needed here as in Ohio.
