Graber Plantation Shutter Blinds

Does anyone have Graber Shutter blinds in their home? If so, do you like them? A nice change from the standard wood shutter. While I like the look and they were not inexpensive, the tilt mechanism is extremely tight/taut when opening and closing. The distributor claims this is normal operation.

Interested in hearing if your Graber shutter blinds operate the same way.
