| We are replacing all the original doublehung windows in our 1926 home with either Pella Architect or Anderson Woodwright windows (new construction method, not replacement). Need to make a decision today and having trouble deciding. Both seem like sound windows, Pella has an aluminum exterior, Anderson has the fibrex (any thoughts on the difference?). Initially Marvin products were an option but they are not under consideration due to a process of elimanation (they didn't have some of the features we wanted) so it is between these two. The Pellas are about 15% more. Any experience or thoughts on these products or companies (customer service, etc.)? Thanks in advance! |

| From a customer service and product quality I'd rank Marvin the highest then Anderson. I would not even consider Pella as an option. Just look around here a little and I bet you will come to the same conclusion. |
