I am looking for advice for an upcoming window replacement project. We live in Louisiana (not coastal) and are buying home built in 1976. We are looking at replacing the existing windows. Have always preferred the look and feel of clad wood windows with the benefit of low maintenance. Replace the windows in our current home built in the 30's with Anderson clad windows, about 12-14 years ago and have had no problems. So our initial thought was just go with Anderson, but not sure what other brands I should be looking at that give a good balance of quality and costs. Not looking for installation as we have that covered, but for windows we can purchase ourselves without installation. Thanks for any help!
