What do you think of this replacement window quote?

Any opinions on the following quote? This is for Simonton 9800s...with grids and *laminated* glass. Includes tearout and haul away of old windows (90s era single-pane), and they'll take care of taking down and reinstalling all my window dressings. They include lifetime labor warranty to go with Simonton's lifetime parts (I think, not positive on Sim's warranty). The company I think is top notch, A+ rating on BBB and seems to have a lot of testimonials on the internet. I really want to use them since I don't think I'd get the same install quality going cheaper, but it's hard to justify these prices. These windows would almost be 10% of the value of my home.

First number is quantity (26 total), second is size.

About 4-5 of these windows have a curved top segment.

Quote is just under 23k. I may pare it down some by not using laminated everywhere (saving $100 per window). Seems high to me compared to the quotes I see on various internet forums, but then again my windows seem to be a little larger than the norm. Thoughts?

thanks!

Your windows are relatively large and the arched top windows are expensive when compared to a standard double hung.

Laminated glass is not cheap either so when you figure that in with the price, your number is in line with what the market dictates for a good contractor.

Look at Weather Shield Visions Vinyl with the ZoE Shield 6 glass(excellent sound control & energy efficiency) & priced right.
