To all my contractor friends..How much flexibility is there in a quote you give a customer? I finally found someone I really like with a good product to install my windows (after numerous estimates) but his quote was just a little out of financial reach (plus he's throwing in an upgraded option).. Is bargining a norm when giving/receiving quotes or is the quoted price what most people pay? I just don't want to insult him, I know everyone is trying to make a living... Thanks for all input...
