| I am building a home and priced out Marvin (top line, not Integrity) and Jeld-Wen Custom, majority dbl hung. I am going with the dark brown alum clad exterior, wood primed interior. The home is a craftsman style and the windows will have the simulated divided lite with spacer bar on the upper portion of the dbl hung glass. Both prices came in very close. I was set on the Marvin, however, Home Depot is having a 15% off on Jeld-Wen.
My question is which window, in your opinion, is better? If they are both the same, then choosing Marvin will mean I am choosing the dealer. Thanks |

| If you do any research at all, you will quickly discover that Marvin is better. Jeld-Wen would be a huge mistake. They do NOT have a very good reputation on any front. |

| Could not have said it any better, 15% will not amount to much in the long run and custom Jeldwen windows and HD are disaster in the making. |

| Thank you for your replies. My opinion was the Marvin window was the better product also. Just wanted some validation. They are a beautiful window. |
