Sliding Patio Door

We are replacing a 6" sliding patio door. We live in Texas and the door faces south, but is covered by an 12 ft porch, so heat isn't a huge issue.
Can someone explain the difference in quality between Milgard, Amerimax and Clarity? I had never heard of Amerimax before and cannot find many reviews online.

Milgard is a quality product as I have been told (not available in my area ever). The other 2 I have not heard or but just from spending 10 seconds on their sites I would keep looking.

I kind of had that suspicion about Amerimax. But I would have guessed Clarity to be better quality. What should I look for that raised concerns? It is located in Sanger, Texas. I think I've seen reviews for a Clarity window in California or somewhere out West--not sure if it is the same company or not.

Can you recommend any other mid-range doors?
