Shopping for Replacement Windows

We are shopping for 23 double hung replacement windows for our 22yr old home. We have looked at Marvin and Pella Proline, both aluminum clad. We are thinking that full window replacements (down to the 2 x 4s would be the best option.) This week we looked at a cellular PVC window. They look just like wood and are not the cheap vinyl look. The ones that we are looking at are out of Precision Mills in GA. web site: norot.com Have any of you had any experience with these type windows? I have studied all of the numbers (U Factor, AL, DP, etc., warranties, and done quite a bit of research. I would appreciate hearing from some window folks out there that know more than I do!! Thanks in advance for your help!

Why do you think a full tear out is preferable?

If the openings are otherwise okay and not leaking, you can actually create issues if your installer does not know what he/she is doing with a full tear out.

Cellular PVC is a nice option if the window is constructed properly.

Their website leaves a bit to be desired in terms of information on their product. What are the specs on that window?
