Pella French Door Hardware (Dumb Question)

Posted by pippit (My Page) on

I feel stupid asking this question, but what hardware will I need to purchase for a Pella French Door with a multi point locking system?

The rest of the house will have Baldwin door handles.

Do I purchase a dummy and a privacy set? Or does Pella sell you the door with the hardware on it?

Thank you!

RE: Pella French Door Hardware (Dumb Question)

Our Pella showroom salesman told us the hardware comes with the door and you select the finish and lever style. My husbnad & I really liked the hardware and it looked and felt like quality that would be similar to Baldwin, so no one would probably ever notice they were 2 different manufacturers. We're also doing the same.

RE: Pella French Door Hardware (Dumb Question)

Only problem may be the finish color, Baldwin does not go by industry standard colors, tehy use thier own colors and they are DIFFERENT then Baldwin. So if there is another door close the finish color would be different.

Thank you, Mydreamhome & Afsa!

We are using Baldwin hardware, so I appreciate the heads up.
