Polaris VS Windows

I have a second home ; I am on a budget but dont want the usual low quality home depot or lowes garbage.
A contractor who sells a high end brand also offers the Polaris VS series.
Looks ok , not great, but a decent window for a budget oriented project.
Was quoted 402 per window for standard double pane with lowE and argon.
Adding grids would be 32 extra. I have 14 windows.
The install is a basic replacement with exterior capping.
Total cost is 5628. Does this pricing sound ok?

RE: Polaris VS Windows

While the ValuSmart is their entry level product, the air and thermal numbers are surprisingly good.

We have used it for a number of years and had almost zero problems with the window.

I would not hesitate in recommending it to someone as a budget end product in the least.

RE: Polaris VS Windows

The price is good. I totaly agree, although its a " budget line", its much better than silverline, excalibur, or any of the brands at home depot.

RE: Polaris VS Windows

Looks like a perfect fit for you. Nice entry level model with good performance and a great price.

RE: Polaris VS Windows

I agree as well. Nice window for the price. :)
